In this “bullet point” society, where people want to digest information as efficiently as possible, you need to up your visual currency! If customers see a post with a lot a text, they might be tempted to scoot along. Pictures, however, really draw interest which makes your content more likely to be read AND encourages a connection with your customer. Incorporating photos that are more genuine, like the above of my Siberian Husky Piper, tend to be more appealing. Perfect, studio quality images don’t convey the sincerity that pictures like those similar to what your customers are posting. For example, while the photo on the left wasn’t “studio quality”, once I used a few editing filters through a $.99 app, I ended up with a picture that had some character. In your next social media marketing post, try giving it a visual boost!
